Investigate:
Smell or taste the sandbag to assess it further. If it smells interesting or if there's something edible within reach, they might even try to open it.
Tear at it if the material is not too tough, driven by curiosity about what's inside.

Use as a Tool or Object for Comfort:
If it's soft enough, they might use it as a pillow or something to sit on.
They could use it in problem-solving tasks, like balancing it to reach something or using it to bridge a gap in their environment.

Social Interaction:
Monkeys might use the sandbag in social play, where one monkey initiates play by presenting the sandbag, leading to games of chase or hide and seek.
